Rental Rules
- Minimum rental period is three days.
- The minimum rental age is 25 at Sun Rent A Car.
- The driver must be in possession of a valid driving licence for at least 5 years.
- Only the registered driver(s) can drive the car. There is no extra charge for up to 2 additional drivers. Please make sure you register all 3 drivers to be covered by our insurance.
- The use of seat belts by all vehicle passengers is compulsory.
- At the time of pick-up a valid ID or passport must be provided.
Reservation Changes and Cancellations
We have a flexible approach to changes and cancellations of reservations but we expect and appreciate an advanced notice from our clients – at least 24 hours prior to the start of the rental period - on any changes.

Pick-up / Delivery
Sun Rent A Car is flexible in holding your reserved car for you to pick-up for up to 6 hours, provided that we have more available cars. We expect our customers to inform our reservation center as soon as possible of any delays in picking up their car. This will ensure that your car will be continued to be reserved in the agreed location.
Extending Rental Period
Customers, who wish to extend their rental period, are kindly asked to personally visit any Sun Rent A Car office. Extending the contract over the telephone is unfortunately not possible.
Late returns can affect the type of rate assigned to your rental agreement. Returns which are later than 3 hours will be charged for an extra day.
Refuelling Policy
Rental cars are provided either with a full tank of fuel that will be charged according to the capacity of the tank of the car or a mandatory amount of fuel which will be charged ₤15.

Sun rent a car provides a 24/7 free emergency roadside assistance. Please ask our in office representatives for more information.
Extras
- Child seats ( 9 -18KG.) and Child Seat Booster (18 - 36KG) are provided free of charge to all our customers upon request.
- Complimentary Cyprus maps and tourist guides, containing information on bars, restaurants, attractions, and local shopping guides.
- Unlimited KM usage.
Pricing / Payment
All credit cards from internationally recognised credit card companies are accepted.
V.A.T. and all other local taxes are included in the prices.
Pre-payment is possible via mail order.
Insurance
All cars are covered with Collision Damage Waiver (C.D.W with € 500.00 excess) with full coverage of customer's liability for any material damages to the vehicle, provided the terms and conditions of the rental agreement are not violated.
The insurance coverage will be void if the vehicle is used by an unauthorized driver, therefore the vehicle’s entire liability will be met by the customer. Each driver must be added onto the contract by our reps.
The driver is liable for all parking and traffic penalties incurred.
Crossing the Border to South Cyprus is not allowed as the insurance is valid only in North Cyprus.
